The Challenge
Studio ASalon, a hair stylist salon in Houston, needed a social media strategist to grow their followers, increase engagements, and boost conversions. The brand was just struggling with a few hundred followers initially due to inconsistent content posting and a lack of awareness on how to manage it for better reach.
It resulted in low audience engagement, limited reach, and zero interaction. Despite providing premium hair styling, hair extension, makeup, and waxing, the salon struggled to stand out and show up as a leading brand as a hair stylist and beautician.


The Strategy
Phoenix Coderex LLC identified the loopholes in their social media strategy, which included:
- Inconsistent Posting
- Less Engagement
- Minimal Interaction
- No Reels or Short Videos Posting
Our strategy was simple, i.e., to drive more engagement by posting regular content, both reels and static posts.
Videos that showed behind the scenes in the salon were also a great opportunity, as people like to interact with such content in masses.
The Solution
Our social media plan included developing a content calendar that included both static and video content. The purpose was to showcase how they perform makeovers, before and after results, and interaction with the clients.
One of the major social media overhauls included optimizing captions and posts with hashtags. Not only were videos and static posts leveraged, but the followers were engaged through polls and questions, leading to increased engagement.


The Results
With optimized captions, using trending hashtags, and engaging followers, the results started to show up within a few weeks. The content started to reach a larger audience, showing better visibility and recognition. The reach increased from 78% to 150%, resulting in more exposure to the brand.
The salon’s Instagram journey from 2,000 to 10,000 followers showed significant growth due to consistent posting.
The followers that were stuck at around 2k with limited reach and interaction were now showing the graph ticking up slightly. The growth was seen due to optimization, hashtags, and local community engagement.
One of the major growth factors was publishing Instagram reels, which significantly boosted visibility. Engagement rates rose from 2-3% to nearly 7-10%, with likes per post climbing from an average of 80 to over 250-300. Reach expanded multifolds with some viral posts hitting 15,000–20,000 accounts.
